K.C. Frogge: News

K.C. on the radio? Listen at NTGR-FM! - January 21, 2006

Sometime during the week of January 22nd, songs from K.C.'s debut album "Flying Solo" will be able to be heard on NTGR-FM internet radio -- "All Women, All Day!", according to Ursula Romanowski, co-founder and programmer for NTGR.

NTGR plays an incredibly eclectic mix of all women from universal superstars under its ASCAP, BMI and SESAC licenses, to fresh-out-of-the-studio indie artists whose music Ursula regards as being worthy of NTGR programming. Recently, K.C. commplimented NTGR for its incredible array of mainstream as well as indie artists and added, "I hope my debut CD as an acoustic work will please listeners because I'm in awe that so many of your airplay artists are so polished and produced." Ursula replied, "In regard to being in awe, you belong there with them, newcomer or not. It's about the music, right? And if your songs make them tap their toes and smile, which I am positive they will, then you've done good!

PS - Got the CD, you ROCK! We'll have you on air as soon as we transfer a few files. Should be this weekend, k?

Luv Ya!

Urs"

Listen for K.C. online, possibly as soon as this weekend (January 22nd) at www.ntgradio.com, go to their homepage, and select your bandwidth to download the player... then rock out with NTGR-FM... "All Women, All Day".

K.C. Feature Performance at Montclair Rescheduled for March 16th - January 20, 2006

K.C.'s Featured Guest Performance at the "Third Thursday" Women's Talent Showcase scheduled for January 19th was forced to cancel due to a previously booked corporate event at the club which organizers didn't catch until the last hour before the open mic was scheduled to start.

Retts Scauzillo, manager and MC of Third Thursday, arrived at the club at 6pm only to find the competing event ongoing and scheduled to last the evening. Unfortunately, some attendees were not able to be warned in time and showed up ready for an open mic, but were told of the mix-up at the door and all seemed under control.

K.C.'s performance has been rescheduled to the March "Third Thursday" event date, and she will be performing several hit songs from "Flying Solo": "Car at the End of the World," "Out Of Sight," "Life on Wheels," and "Comfortable Shoes." Because the event has been rescheduled, there likely will be a full backup compliment of musicians for the March performance. Reset your scheduling clock for Thursday, March 19th, and check the "Calendar" for more information on that date.

"Into the Path of an Oncoming Life" Now in the Works! - January 3, 2006

"Into the Path of an Oncoming Life," K.C.'s second CD, will begin studio production in late March, with a target release of early July. This will be a true collaboration with several veteran guest musicians on keys, bass, lead guitar, drums and percussion, and backup vocals. Look for a truly energized and rocking set of songs on this group effort!

This album will bring to light the past 3 years of K.C.'s challenges, lessons and illuminating experiences, complete with observations and conclusions, about this thing called life. Featured in addition to six fully-arranged songs from "Flying Solo", there will be eight new songs, many of which cross traditional pop song boundaries to raise serious questions about issues in modern society, as well as songs delivering emotional imagery and contemplative circumstances. This album will delve more intensely into K.C.'s creative spirit and reveal a soulful slice of life as seen through thoughtful, interpretive eyes. It has its softer sides here and there, but overall, quiet and mundane it will never be.
